Deviled Eggs

DEVILED EGGS

By Gloria Pitzer, as seen in her self-published cookbook, Sugar Free Recipes (Secret RecipesTM, St. Clair, MI; Nov. 1987, p. 68).

INGREDIENTS:

1 dozen eggs

½ cup mayonnaise

2 TB prepared mustard

2 packets Sweet & Low (or 4 tsp sugar)

Season salt (to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Hard cook the eggs in the shells. Chill the eggs. Peel and slice each egg in half, lengthwise.

Carefully remove yolks to small mixing bowl, setting the whites aside [on a platter]. Beat remaining ingredients into yolks, until smooth.

Spoon mix carefully into the cavities of the egg whites. Dust lightly in paprika. Keep covered and refrigerated to serve within 2-3 days. Makes 24.
