BELGIAN WAFFLE SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:
¼ cup strawberry jam
½ cup light corn syrup
½ tsp lemon juice
2 drops red food coloring
¼ tsp vanilla
¼ tsp almond extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix together [as listed]. Refrigerate, covered, for 24 hours [before serving on waffles with a dollop of whipped cream]. Makes about 2/3 cup sauce.
