
CALYPSO COFFEE
Like The Victoria Dining Room (Niagara Falls, Ontario)

This is an after-dinner coffee that I had at The Victoria Dining Room in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and it has been my favorite ever since!
INGREDIENTS:
8-ounce brandy snifter, pre-rinsed in HOT water
slice of lemon
super-fine granulated sugar
1 shot each – light rum and plain brandy
½ shot Triple Sec
½ cup hot black coffee
¼ teaspoon [table] sugar
Whipped cream and a cherry, to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
Pre-rinse an 8-ounce brandy snifter in HOT water. Dry well and wipe the rim with a slice of lemon, dipping the moistened rim into super-fine granulated sugar. It should harden within a few minutes.
Meanwhile, add to the preheated glass: light rum, plain brandy, Triple Sec, hot black coffee, and [table] sugar. Garnish with whipped cream and a cherry.
