SUGARED PECANS (from Cracker Barrel’s Bread Pudding)

INGREDIENTS:
2 TB butter
1 TB oil
2-oz pecan pieces
4 TB sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a small skillet, combine butter and oil, on medium-low heat, with pecan pieces and stir only until heated and barely bubbly. [TURN HEAT TO LOW.] Sprinkle with sugar.
Stir briskly, only until sugar dissolves, on low heat, AS THESE WILL BURN QUICKLY!!! Work fast! Dump then into a paper towel lined plate. Spread out to cool…
