CALIFORNIA FRIJOLES SOUP

INGREDIENTS:
2 cans (10 ½ ounces each) beef consommé
1 ¼ cups tomato juice
2/3 cup can stewed-tomatoes, mashed well
1 teaspoon each: Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice
a few drops of Tabasco
1-pound can re-fried beans
¼ teaspoon season salt
1/8 teaspoon lemon pepper
2 cups crumbled tortilla chips
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine everything but the chips in a 2 ½-quart sauce pan. Heat gently, but do NOT let it boil. Serve piping hot with crushed tortilla chips to garnish each of 6 (possibly 8) servings.
